The Hollands! are a multinational family band with roots in Australia and the US.

They are 21st-century nomads and frolic in the Americana/Folk Revival scene.

The Band:

Craig Holland
A native of Victoria, Australia, Craig began his musical life in punk rock, including seven years with Chicago-based Celtic punk band Ballydowse, recorded by legendary indie producer Steve Albini. That history still lives in his playing. His rhythmic acoustic guitar style carries a distinctly Celtic pulse, creating the driving, hypnotic foundation beneath The Hollands! sound.

Jana Holland
Originally from Michigan, Jana has spent much of her life travelling the world, gathering songs, stories and a deep appreciation for the ways music brings people together across cultures. Her love of old songs and communal singing sits alongside an instinctive approach to music-making and a willingness to give almost any instrument a go. Playing guitar, banjo and mandolin, Jana is also one of the band’s principal songwriters. Her rich, earthy vocals and poetic, down-to-earth lyrics sit at the heart of The Hollands! sound.

Graciana Holland
Graciana spent her formative years on the road, travelling the world and making music with The Hollands! A gifted vocalist, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, her natural harmonies became an unmistakable part of the band’s sound, while her own songwriting developed into a voice distinctly her own. Playing piano, guitar and ukulele, Graciana went on to release solo music and collaborate with other artists. In 2025, her song “The Meadow,” written and recorded with The Hollands!, found a new international audience when it was featured in Season 4 of Long Way Home, starring Ewan McGregor.

Banjo Holland
Named after beloved Australian bush poet Banjo Paterson, Banjo quite literally grew up with the rhythm of The Hollands! in his hands. What began with the cajón developed into an inventive and instinctive approach to percussion, locking naturally with Craig’s rhythmic guitar and giving the band its distinctive pulse. His playing brings movement, energy and an understated groove to The Hollands! sound.
